Your character is Daniel who is exploring a dark and foreboding castle while is trying to maintain his sanity by avoiding creepy monster and other scary obstructions.
As we said, in Amnesia: The Dark Descent for MacBook you take control of Daniel. He must navigate Brennenburg Castle and avoid some dangers while solving puzzles. There are small items you can store in an inventory menu. About large objects we have to say you can raise them by holding down a mouse button and pushing or pulling the mouse. The difficulty of the levels can be adjusted before its initiation and not once the game begun.
Your character owns a health indicator and you have to pay attention to it. Also Daniel sanity must be managed using an ”afraid of darkness”. You will notice sanity is reduced if Daniel stays in the dark for too long or if he is witnessing unsettling events or look directly at monsters. Low sanity means visual and auditory hallucinations. These increase the chance to attract monsters so you have to be more careful. Light sources can help you restore sanity.
